Virginia (Jenny) Sue Goins

Virginia (Jenny) Sue Goins was born February 22, 1941, in LaFollette, TN to Samuel and Marjorie Allen. She departed this life on January 18, 2023, to be with her Lord and Savior.
Jenny Sue was a loving mother of seven children that loved her family. She was a devoted friend and loved everyone she met. She was a member of Stanford Chapel A.M.E. Zion Methodist Church.
She worked at the Shirt Factory in LaFollette, TN for many years before moving to Morristown, TN. She worked at Morristown Foam in Morristown, TN and eventually retiring from Heritage Nursing Home in Morristown, TN. She was truly a hard working mother providing for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Samuel and Marjorie Allen, Brother; Tommy Allen, Sisters; Mary Katherine Claiborne and Audrey Jane Sherles, Nephews; Tony Claiborne, Joey Claiborne, Niece; Felicia Harris and Great Niece; Chandra Sherles.
She married Edward Younge in 1958 and later Frank Goins in 1973.
Survivors include Brother; Ronald (Nancy) Allen of Knoxville TN, Sons; Stephan Younge of Nashville TN, Stacy Younge of Knoxville TN, Christopher Goins of Morristown TN, Daughters; Jaylene Younge of Nashville TN, Rita (Doby) Boseman of Morristown TN, Candace Goins (Cecil) of Knoxville TN, Chesney Goins of Knoxville TN. Grandchildren; Nathaniel (Tracy) Smith, Erin (Bill) Breeden, Ashley Younge, DeJay (Deka) Boseman, Jazmyn (D’Cameron) Granger, Malcolm Beard, Reagan Goins, Jazlyn Goins, Jadon Goins. Five great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Billy Seals

Billy Seals, age 43 of Morristown, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday 13, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Billy was born in McMinnville, Tennessee to Susie (Charles) Holden and the late Bill Seals of Morristown, Tennessee.
Billy had been employed at Kawasaki of Morristown, Tennessee were he made many friends and enjoyed working. He loved to buy and trade goods, anything that connected him to others made him most happy. He was an avid gamer and music lover.
Billy was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. Spending time with family and friends meant everything to him. Billy truly enjoyed helping anyone in need. He loved the Lord and everyone he was connected to. He especially cared for his nephews and niece. They were his babies too.
Those left to cherish his memories in addition to his parents include one sister, Cindy (Mario) Ross of Morristown, Tennessee; two nephews, Jadon (Brittney) Payne of Seymour, Tennessee, MyKah Luster of Morristown, Tennessee; one niece, ZaKiera Young of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Special friends, Kenny Dugger, Chad Spencer, Chris Blackwell and many more. Too many to name will miss him dearly for he truly was one of a kind.
The service to celebrate Billy's life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday 21, 2023 at Dockery-Senter funeral home with Rev Joseph Senter officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home prior to the services.
Gladys Dorothy Parkey

Gladys Dorothy Parkey, 90 of Morristown, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Flora Kyle, husband, A.R. Parkey and daughter Dorothy J. Fortson. Also, her brother June Kyle and sisters, Josie Kyle and Lucille Neal.
Gladys was lovingly known as NANA to her grandchildren and all their friends because she welcomed them into her home and treated them just like grandchildren. She was her happiest with a house full of laughter from all children. Soon everyone called her NANA.
Gladys was a faithful member and church mother of New Beginnings Ministries in Whitesburg, which she loved and looked forward to each Sunday and Wednesday until her health declined. She loved everyone and was a strong inspiration to everyone she met. Nothing was more important to her than her love for Jesus and her family and grandchildren. She would still tell anyone especially family to get in church and serve the Lord before it’s too late; because Jesus loves you too much not too and I do too.
Gladys leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted family Flora (Rodney) Houston; Rickey (Tammy) Parkey, Susie (Michael) Washington and Charlie Kyle. Grandchildren Jonathan (Micheline) Parkey of Birmingham, AL, Grant (Toni) Anderson of Nashville, TN, Inika (Eric) Vance of Roanoke, TX, Toby Senter, D’Shaun (Tosha) Anderson, Christy Parkey; all of Morristown; Anetria (Tracy) Burriss of Nashville, TN and 22 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28 from 12:00-1:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Michael Washington officiating at Dockery-Senter funeral home. Interment will be immediately after service at Bent-Creek Cemetery in Whitesburg.
