DANIEL DWAYNE GOINS
Daniel Dwayne Goins, age 57, left us suddenly on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Daniel was the seventh of nine children born from the union of Robert (Dooney) and Neverda Boseman Goins. Daniel was a 1983 graduate of Morristown West High School. He attended Walters State Community College.
Daniel was raised at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ and later attended Abundant Life Church. He was an avid reader and a loyal fan to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was his brothers’ “amateur” sports statistician.
Daniel is preceded in death by parents, Robert Goins and Neverda Goins Crum, and siblings, Bobby, Jean, and Larry Goins.
He is survived by brothers, Michael (Tina) Goins of Knoxville; Pastor James (Tammy) Goins and Jonathan Scott Goins, both of Morristown; sisters, Doreatha (Galen) Jones of Covington, GA and Robin Goins of Atlanta, GA; nephews, James Jr. and Stephen Goins of Morristown, Courtland Longshore of Austin, TX; nieces, Elan Farris of Valdosta, GA and Dr. Dorian Longshore of Atlanta, GA.; aunts, Carolyn Jones of Hazelcrest, Illinois, Dorothy (Reginald) Catherine of Lithonia, GA, and Mildred (Ary Lee) Jones of Knoxville, special cousin, Terry Dailey, and a host of cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2, at Abundant Life Church located at 425 Anderson St. in Morristown. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 with the service beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor James Goins will be officiating.

HUGH WAYLON ROGERS
Hugh Waylon Rogers, age 74, of Whitesburg, TN entered eternal life on Friday, November 18, 2022 at his family residence.
Waylon was a Associate Pastor of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Hugh answered to many names such as Minister Rogers, Huey Baby, and Brother Hugh, yet he most commonly was known as Waylon or Uncle Waylon by his closest friends and family.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, James "Bud" and Ella Mae Rogers; Brothers, John (Linda) Rogers and William (Jackie) Rogers; Sister, Roberta (James) Daniels; Daughter Patricia Faye Rogers, Son, Billy Deon Rogers. And Daughter Brittany Yvette Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Rogers, and his children, Bobby Rogers (Jefferson City, Tennessee) and Porsha Nicole Rogers (Nashville, Tennessee). He is survived by cousins, Joseph (Buddy) Riley (Tennessee), Margaret Evans Lee (Muncie, Indiana), Vickie (Ronald) Adams (Douglasville Ga), Darlene Sherles (Morristown, Tennessee), and great cousin MeDia (Joseph) Dix ( Norcross, Georgia). He leaves a host of extended family members that revered him with the utmost love and respect.
Home Going celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Presiding Elder JW Dukes.

JC WILSON, AGE 88 ENTERED THIS LIFE ON JUNE 9TH 1934. HE ENTERED ETERNA REST ON NOVEMBER 21ST 2022 AT HIS HOME. HE WAS A FAITHFULL MEMBER OF MT OLIVE BABTIST CHURCH FOR OVER 30YRS FOR THE LAST 2YRS, HE ATTENDED BETHEL BABTIST CHURCH. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE HAL OF FAME MORRISTOWN PARKS AND RECREATION. HE WAS ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF THE HAMBLEN COUNTY FOOT BALL ASSOCIATION, HE COACH MANY CHILDREN.
JC WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH PARENTS SAVANNAH MAE BOWDITCH AND OSSIE WILSON , WIFE- JEANETTE WILSON, SON-JEFF WILSON SISTERS-OLLIE MOORE AND MARY WILSON HE IS SURVIVED BY SON ( STEVE ARLANA ) WILSON, 3 GRANDCHILDREN KALEB GOFORTH, ZACKARY WILSON AND BRIANA WILSON, I NIECE- TRULETTE (WENDELL) STRICKLAND, CURTIS MOORE (GINA), DWIGHT HAUN, STACY WILSON, GREAT NIECE- CASSIDY MCCURE, GREAT NEPHEW BRANDON (COURTNEY) MOORE SPECIAL CARE TAKER FOR MANY YEARS - TAMMIE EVANS AND STANLEY HAMPTON FAMILY MEMBERS TERESA PARKER AND SERENITY PARKER.
HOME GOING SERVICE - SATURDAY NOVEMBER THE 26TH AT 1230PM AT BETHEL BABTIST CHURCH. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 11AM UNTILL 1230 PM, BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT HAMBLEN MEMORY GARDENS, MILITARY SERVICE BY THE US ARMY HONOR GUARD
