Judy Mae Seal

On August 15, 2024 our beautiful mother Judy Mae Seal went home to be with our Lord in Heaven. She was born on June 13, 1952 and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Bean Station. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 42 years Clifford Eugene Seal of Morristown. Her mother Ola Mae Ratliff of Sneedville and sister Peggy Ann Ratliff of Sneedville. She is survived by her children Machella Lynn Atkins of Dandridge and Clifford Allen Seal of Colorado. Her siblings Allison Ratliff of Texas and Larry Ratliff of Morristown. Her grandchild Ashley Mae Nicole Atkins-Singleton of Dandridge. Great grandchildren Gabriel Eugene Singleton of Dandridge, Shawn Danny Allen Atkins of Russellville, and Carson Colby Allen Singleton of Rutledge. 


Memorial services will be held at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home in Morristown on Monday August 19, 2024 at 6:00pm. There will be a memorial as her ashes are lain to rest on October 8, 2024 at 1:00pm in Sneedville at her family graveyard. You are forever in our hearts mom and will be missed everyday. Rest Easy and Fly High with the Angels until we see you again.

Joann E. Hunter Drew

Joann E. Hunter Drew was born to Walter J and Daisy B. Dunn on August 7, 1944 in Newport News, VA.  Jo as the family called her was the youngest of 5 children.  Joann was educated in the NC School system.  Joann is the mother of Glenda (Pig) and William.  Jo was joy and pleasure to be around.  She had a funny sense of humor.  But she would also set you straight.


Joann is proceeded in death by her parents Walter and Daisy.  Her husband James Drew, her siblings Walter Jr, Ruby and Richard, her daughter Glenda and Grandson Xavier.

Joann leaves to cherish her loving memories her son Williams (Winky) of Morristown, Tenn, her brother Charles Dunn (Rosa) Kernersville NC, her grandsons Timothy Hunter, Tony and K.C.  her great granddaughter Tarnisha (Charmine Miller), 4 great great grandchildren, 14 great grans, God-daughter Rosanna, a host of nieces and nephew and cousins.  Two special friends Mary Miller of Morristonw, Tenn and Sharon Wilson of NYC.

Joann's past time hobbies was completing puzzles and watching sports.  Before becoming ill Joann was employed at La Guardia Hospital in NYC for over 30 years.  Joann will be greatly missed.

Joann Drew will receive Friends and Family Friday, August 15th at Bethel Baptist Church from 1-2 pm and Service starts at 2 pm and burial immediately following service at Rock of Ages Cemetery

John Michael “Mike” Williams

‘MIKE’

John Michael “Mike” Williams, age 76, of Morristown entered into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. 


He graduated  West High School and attended Morristown College. He was employed as an officer with the Morristown Police Department, America Enka, Tennessee Valley Authority and at Bechtel Corporation where he retired in 2016. Mike was an avid golfer and loved the time he spent on the green with his golf buddies. 


Mike was preceded in death by his father and  mother, John T. and Haseltine Williams and his sister, Sharee Williams. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Mary Ann Williams, his children Anthony (April) Williams and Tamika Williams; his brother, Thomas Williams; grandchildren, Candice (Matt) Polly, Kyra Williams, Terrell (Alexis) Williams, Tevin (Delia)Blevins and Torey(Mayra) Blevins; niece, Danyelle Williams; nephew, Scott (Carrie) Williams; special cousins, Marie Harris, Hope (Eddie) Hickson, Cassandra (Tony) Sloan, Deborah Randall and Rhonda (Donald)Lawery;  brothers-in-law, Ronnie Dailey  and Michael Dailey and sister-in- law, Lynnis Richmond. He also leaves a host of great-grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and life long friends.


Services will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon on Saturday, Aug. 3. Burial will immediately follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
