Nellie Beatrice Collin’s Dyer

It is with deep sorrow that the family of
Nellie Beatrice Collins Dyer announces her passing  peacefully on Wednesday Febuary 12,2025.

Nellie Beatrice Collins Dyer was born on June 8,1937, to the union of Howard and Elnora Collins, Bean Station,Tn. She moved to Morristown,Tn early on and has been a resident ever since.

Nellie was retired from Anchor Advanced Product where she worked for 30 years. 

Nellie was called home on Wednesday February 12, 2025. She was proceeded in death by her parents Howard and Elnora Collins, Son- Billy Wayne Dyer, Daughter- Diane Dyer, Brother- Billy Collins, Sisters- Mary Collins Talley, and Juanita Collins Tucker.

She leaves to cherish her memory; Her beloved son and daughter in law Paul Susie Dyer of Morristown, TN, Sisters- Louise Kyle,Mildred (Raymond) Thompson, Pauline Collins, Janet Treece, Tammy(James) Goins, Veronica Collins, Shannon Collins all of Morristown,TN. Brothers- Raymond Collins of Johnson City,Tn, Jeff Collins, Mike Collins, Ricky Collins all of Morristown, Tn. Grandchildren- Chnae Griffin,  Trey Howard, Shakia Howard, Lonnie Costello,  Shawajna and Shameequa Knight, Great Grand Children- Lyonna Costello Lanya Costello, Zy’Aire Howard Phillips,Shamar Ely, Havanna and Kiheleya Knight.  A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends and a devoted family member Eddie Buck Howard.

Nellie Dyer was a truly remarkable woman who embodied the words of Acts 20:35: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Her generosity knew no bounds, and she spent her life selflessly giving to others in ways that will never be forgotten.

A devoted mother, sister, nana, and friend, Nellie was the backbone of her family. Her strong will and unwavering determination inspired everyone around her, while her kindness, humor, and resilience brought light into the lives of those who knew her. She was a hard worker, a godly woman, and a pillar of faith who walked humbly and purposefully in all she did.
She cherished time with her loved ones and embraced the simple joys of life. Whether offering a helping hand or a listening ear, Nellie showed her love through action, always leading with a kind heart.

Her love, strength, and faith will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Dockery’s funeral home on Sunday February 23,2025. 2-3 receiving friends and family. 3 Homegoing service

TAMIKA ANN WILLIAMS-BLEVINS

TAMIKA ANN WILLIAMS-BLEVINS


Tamika Ann Williams-Blevins, age 53, of Morristown, TN entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at her home.


Tamika was born, raised and lived her entire life in Morristown, TN.  She graduated high school from Morristown-East High, Class of 1990. Tamika was a licensed CNA and has worked both at Morristown Hamblen Hospital and at Life Care Nursing Home.


Tamika was preceded in death by her father, John Michael Williams and her paternal and maternal grandparents, John T. and Haseltine Williams and Henry and Willie V. Dailey.  


Tamika is survived her Mother, Mary Ann Williams; her sons, Tevin (Delia) Blevins and Torey (Mayra) Blevins; her brother, Anthony (April) Williams; her uncles, Thomas Williams, Ronnie Dailey & Michael Dailey;  her aunt, Lynnis Richmond;  her nieces, Kyra Williams and Candice (Matt) Polly; her nephew, Terrell( Alexis) Williams; and her first-cousins, Danyelle Williams, Scott Williams, Gail Richmond, Terry Dailey, Kalieh Dailey, Cameron Dailey, Chad Dailey,  Jordan Dailey, Brandon Dailey, Destiny Dailey, Lamonte Dailey, Byron Dailey & Travis Long.  She also leaves a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, life long friends and her special mentor, Ms. Martha from Abundant Hope Ministries. Tamika loved her family and friends, was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.


A Memorial Service for Tamika will be announced at a later date and the family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts that donations be made in Tamika’s name to Abundant Hope Ministries, Morristown, TN.

Johnny Ronald Mize

Johnny Ronald Mize
Sunrise: November 22, 1955 Sunset : January 8, 2025
Johnny R Mize was born November 22, 1955 in Morristown Tennessee,
to the late William and Lillian Mize. His earthly presence with us ended peacefully on the morning of Wednesday January 8, 2025. Our loss is truly heaven’s reward!

Johnny was educated Morristown Tennessee. Join the United States Air Force where he served for several years. Married, has on child traveled the world then moved back to Morristown to live near family.  Johnny had a smile warm and a very comical sense of humor, the type to either make you laugh or punch him in the throat! His soul was quiet and reserved but a joy to be around and he loved his Dallas Cowboys Football team. Johnny love to play a few rounds of golf, planting flowers believe it or not, just ask his neighbor Tina, his gardening buddy. Johnny was also known for his fashion and style of dress; he loved a good hat moment.

Johnny was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Sales, Betty Priester and
Jeanette Allen. brothers; William, Charles and James Mize.
Johnny leaves to cherish his loving memory one daughter Corri Mize, six grandchildren.  Sister Dochie Sheets a host of a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
