Ronald Earl Jarnigan Sr.

Ronald Earl Jarnigan Sr., 59, passed away peacefully Friday, July 15, 2017. He was a member of Freedoms Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marcella Jarnigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Edith Ida Mae Jarnigan; daughters Connie Adams and Virginia "Jenny" Dickerson; son and daughter-in-law Ronald "Bo" (Robin) Jarnigan; grandchildren Makayla Griffin, Logan Jarnigan and Kendra Griffin; great-grandchildren Keondra "Trey" and Jazslyn Griffin; brother David Jarnigan, Bobby (Sherry) McBee whom he loved like a brother; special nephew Michael Jarnigan and other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home with the funeral following at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Morgan officiating. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 19th at 11 a.m. at Freedoms Chapel Cemetery, Helton Road in Grainger County. Pall bearers will be Michael Jarnigan, Josh Jarnigan, Bobby McBee, Johnny Livingston, Mike Keister, Williams Dickerson, Ronald Matthews, Jimmy Fellers and Bennie Brockwell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dockery Funeral Home to help with expenses.
