Lawrence Dan Rice

Lawrence Dan "Law" Rice, 46, born June 5, 1971 passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 20, 2017. The son  of Dan Rice and Sandra Harley, Lawrence was born and raised in Chicago. Lawrence attended South Shore Community High School in Chicago. He was exceptional in both academics and sports excelling in football, where he was widely scouted and then recruited with a scholarship to play football at Knoxville College Morristown Campus. He was preceded in death by his youngest sister, Cecelia Rice; father Dan Rice and mother Sandra Harley. Lawrence is survived by his son Parish Senter; sisters Dannie Tabiszewski and Robbie Kemp; brothers Clifton Rice and Martin Andrews and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 29th at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home.
