Glenna Minard

Glenna Yeary Minard, 77, was born April 24, 1941 in Morristown to the late Rev. James and Kathelene Toney Yeary. She departed this life for her heavenly home April 7, 2019 at UT Medical Center Knoxville. She loved God and was saved at an early age. She loved gardening and being with family, whom she loved very much. Glenna was a strong willed woman who relied on her faith to keep moving forward no matter what life brought her way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerold D. Minard; brothers, Aaron V. Yeary Sr., James E. Yeary Jr.; and grandparents, James and Gray Toney, Harvey and Della Yeary.
Survivors include her daughter, Tessa Golding (Michael) of Dallas, Texas; son, Trent Houchins of Nashville; son, Jayson Houchins of Kent, Ohio; daughter, Monique Segars (David) Oak Ridge; grandchildren, David, Alexis, and Nevada; sister, Brenda Yeary Sheffield (Carlton) of San Antonio, Texas; sisters-in-law, Faye Yeary of Tazewell, Lynette (Yeary) Thompson (James) of Austin, Texas, Patsy Pollat of New Castle, Wyoming; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Yeary Cemetery 1 pm, Friday, April 12 with Elder James H. Goins, Sr. officiating.
