Gillis Vernon Brown, 68, of White Pine passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 15, 2017. He was born January 2, 1949. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; daughters Kim (Pablo) Reyes and Ashley Martinez; grandkids Cody Lamb, Diego Martinez and Erika Reyes; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 20th at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m.

Gillis you will never know how much you were loved. No matter how much time passes you will never be forgotten. Your legacy that you have left behind will live on forever and to all of us that cared so much about you. Myself along with Kim, Carolyn, Angie, Diego, Pablo, Erika, Tom, Shirley, Denise and Danny, Quentin, Roy. Wanda,Jason,Jeff,Randy and connie and so many more that will never forget you. I know not how things will change but I do know it will never be the same without you. We will be reunited someday. I love you dad. May you rest easy in the arms of god.
